I was born and raised in Georgia. I was very active in the FFA. This is where my love for animals first began. I proudly served my country for 10 years in the United States Navy. I am also the mother of 3 awesome children and 3 spoiled dogs. My goal, along with the staff, is to make sure your dog has the best experience possible here at Urban K9.

Originally from New York, he recently relocated to South Carolina, where he’s embracing a slower pace and a stronger connection with the local dog-loving community. Kal has had careers in culinary arts and healthcare, but now finds himself passionate about canine behavior, obedience, and reinforcement techniques. Kal finds inspiration in everyday moments with his two beloved goldendoodles, Jean-Claude and Lady. When he’s not working with dogs, he enjoys spending quality time with his partner, Tia, cooking for friends, and continuing his education in animal behavior and training methodologies.
